Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of cleaning and home organisation services by MK Home Harmony. By booking a service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Services Provided
MK Home Harmony provides the following services:

Regular domestic cleaning

Deep cleaning
-
End-of-tenancy / move-in and move-out cleaning
-
Home organisation and decluttering
-
Optional additional services such as ironing (by prior agreement)
All services are carried out with reasonable care and professionalism.
3. Equipment and Cleaning Supplies
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, clients are responsible for providing all necessary cleaning equipment and supplies, including but not limited to:

Vacuum cleaner
-
Mop and bucket
-
Cleaning cloths and sponges
-
Cleaning products and disinfectants
MK Home Harmony is not responsible for any malfunction, damage, or reduced performance resulting from client-provided equipment or products.
If adequate equipment or supplies are not available at the time of service, the scope of work may be adjusted accordingly.
Cleaning products may be provided by MK Home Harmony upon prior agreement and may be subject to an additional charge.
4. Booking and Confirmation

All services must be booked in advance.

A booking is confirmed once acknowledged by MK Home Harmony.

Service details, including date, time, and location, will be agreed prior to the appointment.
5. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking.

Payment is due on or before the day of service unless otherwise agreed.

Late payments may result in suspension of future services.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule regular cleaning appointments.

For deep cleaning or end-of-tenancy services, at least 48 hours’ notice is required.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

Providing safe access to the property
-
Ensuring utilities (water and electricity) are available
-
Securing fragile, valuable, or personal items prior to cleaning
MK Home Harmony cannot be held responsible for damage to items that were not properly secured.
8. Services Not Provided
For clarity, MK Home Harmony does not provide:

External or high-access window cleaning
-
Carpet or upholstery cleaning requiring specialist machinery
-
Cleaning involving hazardous chemicals or materials
-
Chimney or fireplace cleaning
-
Heavy lifting or moving of large furniture
-
Post-construction cleaning involving hazardous debris
Additional specialised tasks may be considered at discretion and by prior agreement only.
9. Liability
While every effort is made to provide high-quality service, MK Home Harmony’s liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
Pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or issues resulting from faulty materials or equipment are not the responsibility of MK Home Harmony.
10. Privacy
All personal information collected for the purpose of providing services will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.
11. Amendments
MK Home Harmony reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available upon request or on the website.
